Are flights included?
Flights aren’t included in the package price. This is the responsibility of the individual.
We will suggest an arrival and departure time in line with the arrival and departure to and from the resort.
I’m a vegan, is this OK?
The resort is set up as vegan/pescatarian/vegetarian first. For meat eaters, their proteins are added on site, at their request. We will also do a nutrition and allergy screening before arrival to get all dietary requirements. We can tailor your nutrition experience depending on your goals for the retreat as well.
Will i need travel insurance?
Yes.
As a business we will have our own public liability insurance.
It is always advisable to have your own travel insurance policy in place that covers sports/fitness.
What clothes should i bring?
Expect to have training sessions twice per day with additional activities such as hiking, cycling and swimming. You’ll need enough to cover this with the appropriate footwear. There are cleaning facilities on site should you need to use them. You will also need clothing for non-training time and evening dinners. Mainly, anything you are comfortable in and suitable for the activity.
Will i be sharing a twin room with someone i don’t know?
As you are booking one of the two available spaces in the room, and travelling on your own, it will be the case you will be sharing the room with someone of the same gender.
Are transfers included?
We’ll offer one group pick up, at a set time for departure on the arrival day. Anyone arriving after this time will have to arrange their own transfer to the resort at their own cost. Efforts will be made from us to help make sure most, if not all guests arrive in Porto before the transfer departure time. One group transfer will also be available on departure day, heading back to Porto. Again, anyone leaving outside of this time will have to arrange their own transfer at their own cost.
Are the rooms single sex occupancy?
They are yes.
The set up we have in place is to make sure every guest feels safe and comfortable.
We will allocate each person a space in a twin room in line with this policy. Exceptions will be made if you are booking with friends/family and you have told us this is OK.
Will i need additional spending money?
Like any holiday, there may well be additional spending outside of the package price.
There will be activities on the retreat that will require you to have additional funds.
These may include alcohol, tuck shops, local businesses.
